Our Month!

Asan and I celebrated our 7th wedding anniversary this year last 13th November 2012. Honestly, it feels like it was just yesterday when we had our dream wedding! I remember all the preparations, logistics, invites; in short - getting everything to almost perfect was hard work.. am sure those who got married will surely agree with me. To those who is going to face it, congratulations and I do not envy you..haha...love the wedding but not the preparation part! Being ME, had to be so obsessive of doing everything myself (almost majorly but the family still had done alot too)...

Anyway, earlier in November this year - I had thought to myself that I wanted to do something to our master bedroom which wasn't such a master of its own anyway as the Chipmunks have been terrorizing our room; mainly the twins - since the day they learned to crawl. I used to have calmness and our room reflects it nicely back then. So, I had thought.... day by day, each item in our room was sent to the store room; I remember that every time I came home to work - one piece of furniture would be missing daily - one time, I remember one twin had used our standing lamp as a 'dancing pole!' 2 minutes later - off the lamp to the store room! ***SIGH***

It went on till I can only count the furniture in our bedroom to these: 1 bed, 1 tv table + TV, 1 cupboard and 1 drawer. Yes, that is all...no more and it could have gotten lesser..*cringe*

People who came over would always gush at how big our room is and how clean it was! Yeah - when you have nothing to collect dust in the first place, how can it be NOT clean? There is nothing else the maid can do except clean the room anyway. The room was used for race tracks, wrestling area or whatever activities the Chipmunks could think of.

I. had. enough!

Being a girl, you cannot NOT feel like you need to 'girl-effect' the room..so, that's what I did - and I think in a way, subconsciously; it was also a gift to Asan & Santy (Asanty) on their 7th year wedding anniversary...

Hope you enjoy the pictures!

When you first enter our room - you will see this area...

Had spent one whole afternoon doing this heart wall picture, love the final work!

Had a funny story on this standing lamp - when I had first bought it way back 5 years ago I think, my Hubs was so scared of it! It seriously looked like 'hantu bungkus' he said! He hated it last time, now - its back, guess he has no choice but to just leave it in the room! Haha...

Had spray painted the remote control holders, little box and the rattan basket - just because I want them to complement the overall purple look!

If you notice, I try not so much to have so much feminine touches for our bed. Respect his 'manhood' as well when you go out and buy bed sheets for the bed you share together.

 Tips I have learned:
1. You do not have to put everything and anything you have into your bedroom. Main focus is the bed, work your way from there. There is such a place called store room for the rest!
2. Less is MORE!
3. It helps to be organised - meaning keep everything back to its place when you first got it!
4. When you absolutely need to clutter, clutter it in an organised manner; example is the rattan basket I keep under my side table? I put my creams, lotions, tissue and anything else inside that basket! Its messy but all in one place, neatly! haha...

Case Command Centre! [CCC]

Hey now..its November 2012 and it has been ages! Haha...

Wanna share pictures with you out there on one of my many obsession...Casings! Be it iphone cases, ipad cases or my Note cases...they are sure plenty! I love collecting them and as you know from my many updates from time to time - I always colour coordinate my stuffs for the day and that include my cases... however, with the many cases come with the many issues - space!

Previously, what I did was - I dumped everything all into my Ultima Bag which in a way saves space!  This picture was taken from my Timeline Photos on November 2011 - almost a year ago! Trust me when I say this...the Ultima - it being the biggest bag ever; could not keep all my cases! It has grown - alot...

It has come to a point where it is getting difficult to find the cases I want and to match it to my other phone / ipad (yes, am THAT OCD)... --> so sue me!

So, one fine day, I  thought to myself that I need to sort it all out! Thought it would be cheaper to just sort them in usable plastic locker zipper type bag and boy, am I a happy girl! Brought all my cases to work - did it all on October 11, 2012 (to be exact) during my lunch hour.. (kes diet konon)...

Its all so easily organised!

Then, I still have my space issues! Sigh.....

So, I made it my personal mission to find the perfect cabinet / storage / whatever to keep all my cases in one place.... finally after much search; found the perfect pretty one PLUS it blends well in my Pink Room (those who come collect their goodies from my residence would have been in my Pink Room)! See how pretty this is?

It is just perfect to what I call as the Case Command Centre! Yup, all my pretty cases are in here as organised as they can be! hehe....

It comes with 4 narrow long drawers (upper) and 4 wide big drawers (bottom) and its all lined in with polka dot fabric! How pretty and  it matches my personality at the same time! It was love at first sight! *awwww*

The top drawer is where I intended to place my small collection for my iphone 3gs casings, Samsung Notes and tiny other phone stuffs!

See all my babies are lined up to go to their new home!

Now top drawer I can place all my 3gs casings - cos its not so much...see how neatly organised they are in the drawer and I can easily find them by using the plastic ziplock... (pats back for brainy moment!)..hehe

Now for my iphone 4 casings - I had to put them in the bigger and wider drawer bottom part cos I have so much of them! Love each and every single one of my casings! *gushing moment* hehe...

Next you will now see my Ipad covers - yes, I love them as well.... I have them plenty too...can't stop buying..as I said, my gadgets are far more important than buying branded bags...hehe.... (jaga - ada yang marah this statement ani, yes, Gucci, Prada, LV are nice too! haha)

Same thing I did - bought bigger plastic ziplock bags and 'voila' - all neatly organised!

...and yes, these babies cant wait to lie down happily in their drawers!!

Had them placed in two baskets where the next one will also be for my *ehems* future Mini Ipad cases! *drools*

Oh yes, these are my phone plugs which I shall place them inside the upper drawers...but then I need to have a mini box maybe for them inside the drawers... will hunt down the nice ones! (p/s - i still need to find some of them some more cos I forgot where I had placed them! Eeeek!)

So, there you go - my CCC area! Cheers!

Personal: Lil' Ms. Peggy

Wow..its the 2nd month of 2012 and it just shows how bad I have been with updating this blog...

I remember a time when I had a personal blog of my first born - where I would update if not daily - it would be on weekly basis....and now..blargkh! so lazy! :(

Anyway, being random here - I have decided that since the FB account is more of selling the many available gorgeous items - maybe every now and then I should just jot down my 5cents' worth of worthless thoughts here..haha...well if I would even manage to type up daily let alone weekly on this blog...

so.....~crickets sounds~
(there goes the worthless thoughts!)

by the by (i cant just say 'anyway' here again, right?)
Maybe I should just share about my tiny lil' car...that would be just as interesting as dissecting a bug isn't it? -_-

I have decided to name it Ms. Peggy! it is just so cute...

bought it for the simple reason:
1. cute
2. cheap
3. sporty
4. girly girl!

this would be considered my third car (on my own)...other cars wold be sharing with the other half - co-owners, I might say!

*now* just remembered about my first car! it was a Mazda MX-5...and it was a beaut! bought it from a Japanese Re-Con Car seller in Brunei (hey, at that time - famous beli from Japan kali ah!)...it was in silver colour!

now..i remember this very clearly - on the day I got the keys to this baby... I called up my dear childhood friend, picked her up and went around Centrepoint (that time no MALL okay?) with the top down! There we were - two girls driving around aimlessly with a bad radio transmission (hey, it came with the original Japan fm radio) and no sport rims! Haha...my then bf said - memberi geli jua jalan catu eyh! meaning - there - looking with a non modified car with bad speakers driving around were two girls with the car top down! *horror* - we were very the prasan to be 'as if!' Konon Erra Fazira lah tu ah - back then, the hit movie was 'Pasrah!' so - u now know where the sentiments 'prasan' came from! Lol...

anyway - i love you Ms. Peggy... *winks*
